Join me and The Blissful Chef in beautiful Sayulita Mexico for gorgeous beaches and the time of your life! This year we decided to a do a retreat a bit closer to home, for 5 days and 4 nights to make it more accessible and affordable. I can’t wait to share tools for a healthy lifestyle with you!

There are so many classes that lead you through yoga and feed you healthy food. But we also want to give the gift of knowledge, so that you will have the tools to take a healthy lifestyle home with you! Every morning we will have a vigorous yoga class, in which you’ll learn how to balance and strengthen different parts of your body. (Your spine, hips, shoulders, feet and ankles, and more.) In the evening, I will teach you gentle stretches and self massage techniques with Yoga Tune Up® massage balls to relax tight muscles. And the renowned vegan chef Christy Morgan will be teaching cooking and wellness classes, along with fitness classes so you can get your sweat on. We will be staying in a beautiful resort with access to the beach, surfing and relaxing. Come join us! About Sayulita, Mexico:
Sayulita is a hidden gem with picturesque beaches, charming restaurants and great food. Unlike some other Mexican towns, tourists mingle with locals in a relaxed atmosphere, without the hustle and bustle of major touristy resorts. For those seeking more nightlife, Puerto Vallarta is a mere 45 minutes away.

The Retreat Center:

Hotelito Los Suenos is a small and quaint “green” boutique hotel, named the Little Hotel of Dreams, a place to relax and indulge in the quaint tropical seaside village of Sayulita. 40% of their power is solar and they are doing their part to protect the planet. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk (or you can take a bicycle) to the busy city center where you can grab lunch, shop, and connect with locals and other guests. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach

The Yoga Classes:

AM Yoga: Our morning classes will be energetic and strength building. You’ll be able to find your strong muscles and weak spots, while learning how to balance all your body parts. Each day we’ll concentrate on a different area, find dysfunctional movement patterns, and learn how to fix them.

PM Yoga: In our evening yoga classes, we’ll relax with deep stretches and self massage with the YTU massage balls. We’ll use props to facilitate deeper relaxation, and explore the places where we hold tension. We’ll also delve into the mind/body connection, as we learn the ways in which emotions and stress can manifest in the body. There will also be chi-gong and seated meditation.

The Cooking Classes:

Cooking classes will be vegan, healthy and delicious. They will be demonstration with some hands-on activity. Everyone will get copies of the recipes to take home with them. Cooking classes are about 2 hours and dinner will be served after with the dishes we make in class.

The Fitness Classes:

The fitness classes will be interval training incorporating bodyweight exercises and resistance bands. All levels are welcome, and modifications can be given to decreases or increase the intensity. Fitness classes are around 30 minutes.

Rachel Browning WellnessRachel Browning: Rachel, for over 10 years, Rachel’s compassionate dedication in the wellness and fitness industry has transformed the well being of her clients and students. She’s certified in countless fitness modalities, giving her a unique, rounded approach to help her clients reach their goals. She’s a 300+ hour certified yoga instructor, an AFFA certified personal trainer, and holds certifications for FMS, TRX, Vipr, Iyengar, EFTI, Pre/Post Natal, and many more. Christy Morgan: Christy, known as “The Blissful & Fit Chef”, and has worked in theThe Blissful and Fit Chef natural foods industry since 2002. In the early part of her career she was a chef for celebrities in Los Angeles and published a cookbook, Blissful Bites: Vegan Meals That Nourish Mind, Body, and Planet. She helps transform thousands of lives through cooking classes, food coaching, and wellness programs for corporations and individuals. Now a NASM Certified Personal Trainer she works with clients to help them reach all of their health & fitness goals!

Sample Schedule:

Below is a sample schedule for the retreat. This is subject to change. All activities are of course optional but we hope you’ll participate. Plenty of free time is given during the day to enjoy the town of Sayulita, try surfing or stand-up paddle board, go shopping, and just relax by the pool or beach.

We’ll serve breakfast and dinner, then you’ll be on your own for lunch.
